Welcome to MP Fine Art and Paper Conservation!
Located in scenic Adams County, Pennsylvania, the Maria Pukownik Fine Art and Paper Conservation Center, has long been considered one of the major points of interest in the historic Gettysburg area.

Privately owned and operated, we are known for our excellent customer service and our state-of-the-art facilities. Guided by the same code of ethics of the American Institute of Conservation, our clients have come to expect the quality of service that is provided to museums by major regional conservation centers.

Clients speak directly to our in-house conservator, Maria Pukownik. Mrs. Pukownik earned her masters degree in Fine Arts and Paper Conservation from the Nicolas Copernicus University of Torun, Poland in 1974. She is highly qualified to answer specific questions pertaining to the condition of an artwork and to offer advice on available treatment options.

Our laboratory is well-equipped and spacious and can accommodate artworks of nearly any size. Large collections and oversized items are generally transferred to our climate controlled Gettysburg extension.

Individuals and institutions seeking care for their treasured antiquities may visit our next page for further information.

We are open by appointment only. House calls within a 30 mile radius. For out-of-state clients, we recommend using UPS or FedEx. Shipping instructions and/or containers are available upon request.
